Sequoia Sentinels Call for a Thousand Year Commitment

The most massive of trees, sequoias have been transported throughout the world, to Europe, South America, Australia and New Zealand, South Africa and mostly likely Asia as well. There is a sequoia growing in Burgh-Haamstede just down the street from the gallery and the outdoor installation. Unlike black cherry trees, sequoias have been welcomed everywhere. These contemplations are offered for the sequoia in Burgh-Haamstede as well as all those that have been planted around the world. Look carefully and you may find a sequoia near where you live. If not, imagine yourself standing in front of one of these magnificent trees.
