artworkChildren's Forest Interpretive Trail

Pillow Rock
the last of five panels

Selections from the text:

I love lizards so much that I want them
to be living so that I can see them again
I have learned to care so much that
I try to stop my love of catching them.

Imagine yourself flying from flower to flower
sweeping the nectar from each and everyone.
What would you do if they weren't here
to waver in your face and dazzle your eyes?

I can tell my kid that when I was about his age I changed Children's Forest in a good way.
My kid may ask why this rock is called pillow rock and I may answer, because you can come and dream while you lie on this rock.
